Ball Noir - a new project by some Orfeo members

Some of the members of Orfeo are involved in a cool new project! Three years ago we teamed up and decided that balfolk was suitable to play a lot (one) louder.

Together with Jesse de Vaal (drumcomputers and sequencers) and Lennart van Meegen (electric guitar and vocals) we recorded some songs. For a while nothing happened (we are all busy musicians), lest letting the idea incubated in our minds.

At the beginning of this year decided it was time to let the world meet with the band Ball Noir. On invitation of the untamed Summer Darkness festival in Utrecht (NL) we will play our very first show.

When: friday the 13th of august 2010 (scary isn't it!)

Where: Domplein, Utrecht (NL)

Entrance: Free

Also Orfeo and Kelten zonder Grenzen will play in the weekend of 13-15th of august at the Domplein in Utrecht. Both will bring their first album with them. Get ready for a free balfolk party-weekend!
